The hanging heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing device is also one of the types of non pipeline gas fire extinguishing devices. It is a prefabricated fire extinguishing system installed in a hanging manner by storing the designed fire extinguishing agent in gas cylinders, equipped with nozzles, electromagnetic drive devices, and signal feedback devices. There are manual and automatic start modes available.

① Overview of fire extinguishing agents
Heptafluoropropane HFC-227ea (also known as FM200, molecular formula CF3CHFCF3) fire extinguishing agent is an ideal product for replacing halogenated hydrocarbons 1211/1301 fire extinguishing systems. It is colorless, odorless, low toxic, non-conductive, non polluting to protected objects, does not cause damage to property and precision facilities, and has no destructive effect on the atmospheric ozone layer (ODP value is zero). It has been widely used both domestically and internationally.
② Overview of Fire Extinguishing Principles
Chemical fire extinguishing has both physical and chemical fire extinguishing functions. Under high temperature conditions, heptafluoropropane decomposes into fluorine-containing free radicals, which interact with active free radicals in the flame, interrupting the combustion chain and inhibiting combustion. At the same time, the chemical chain breakage and gasification process in the chemical reaction of heptafluoropropane require the absorption of a large amount of heat and the consumption of oxygen, reducing the temperature and cooling to extinguish the fire
